Terms of Service

Little Answers is designed to help adults explain complex topics to children using AI-generated responses. The service focuses on clarity, empathy, and age-appropriate explanations.

The App is meant to support parents and caregivers in their conversations with children and is not built for direct use by children.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Little Answers.

The App is not directed to children and does not allow children to create accounts.

To use the App, you must create an account using your email address and a password. By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at guilherme@littleanswers.space.

The App allows you to enter questions, text, or other content ("User Content"). You agree that you will not submit User Content that:

• Is illegal
• Promotes harm or violence
• Exploits or endangers children
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats
• Violates the rights of others
• Contains malware or attempts to disrupt the service

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse service
• Disable or delete accounts
• Remove access to the App if you violate these rules

We do not monitor or review User Content except as technically necessary to operate the App.

When you enter a question, the App sends the following information to OpenAI for processing:

• The question text
• The selected age range
• The selected explanation mode

OpenAI uses this data solely to generate an answer. Your data is not used to train AI models.

You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions
• You should use your own judgment when interpreting responses
• The App is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, educational, or otherwise)

Key points:

• We collect only your email for login
• We store history and settings locally on your device
• We do not run our own backend server
• We do not store your questions
• We use Google Analytics for Firebase to anonymously track app usage and improve reliability
• We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers
• We send only minimal information to OpenAI
• You can clear local data at any time

You can always read the full Privacy Policy inside the App or on our website.

Your device may store:

• Question history
• App settings

Nothing else is stored. You may clear all stored data from the App’s Settings screen, and deleting the App fully removes all local data.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt or damage the App
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or modify the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Try to access or interfere with OpenAI’s systems
• Misrepresent yourself or impersonate others

You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing guilherme@littleanswers.space. Upon receiving your request, we will delete your account credentials. Since we do not store other personal data, no further deletion is needed.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the App or its services
• You submit harmful or illegal content

All trademarks, logos, design assets, text, features, and branding related to Little Answers are owned by the developer.

You may not:

• Copy
• Reproduce
• Redistribute
• Modify
• Create derivative works based on the App

Little Answers is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App:

• Will always be accurate
• Will be error-free
• Will be available at all times
• Will meet your expectations

AI explanations are generated automatically and may contain mistakes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App
• We are not responsible for actions taken based on AI-generated content
• You use the App at your own risk

Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the laws of the Member State in which the developer resides (Portugal).

Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Portugal.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
